2. Hosting and technical access data
This website is provided through GitHub Pages. When the site is accessed, technically required connection and access data may be processed by the hosting infrastructure, in particular IP address, access time, requested resource, browser/device information and technical status data where required for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
Where this processing is within our responsibility, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically reliable operation of the website. Further information about GitHub processing is available in GitHub’s privacy information.
3. Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to evaluate aggregated website usage and performance metrics and to improve the service technically and editorially. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage to collect these usage metrics and does not fingerprint individual visitors for analytics purposes using IP address, User-Agent or other characteristics.
Depending on the configuration, Cloudflare may perform measurement through a JavaScript beacon in the browser or through its edge infrastructure. In particular, page views, referrers and technical performance metrics are evaluated for aggregated web analytics. We do not use this analysis to identify individual visitors or create cross-site advertising profiles.
Where this processing is within our responsibility, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to measure website use and technical quality in a data-minimising way and improve the website using aggregated findings. World Discovery currently does not use its own advertising or analytics cookies. If additional consent-requiring analytics, advertising or tracking services are introduced later, this policy will be updated before activation and consent will be obtained where legally required.
4. External links and data sources
The website links to external data sources and other websites. Their privacy terms apply when an external link is opened. Merely displaying a link on this site does not itself transfer additional personal data to the linked destination; a connection is established only when the external service is opened.

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide in order to handle the request. Depending on the request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
